McDermott First Aid Training delivers high quality, Ofqual-regulated First Aid Training courses throughout England and Wales.
I aim to deliver engaging first aid courses that meet the requirements set out by the Health and Safety Executive for the provision of certified first aiders in the work place. I can also offer bespoke training sessions to meet individual needs. As a registered paramedic with over 11 years experience of working on front line ambulances, I have the experience and knowledge to instil confidence in all those who undertake one of my training courses.
Our Courses
Level 3: First Aid at Work 3 Day
This comprehensive course is aimed at anyone wanting to become qualified First Aider in the workplace. This course includes everything included in the EFAW course, as well the recognition and management of various illnesses and injuries.
Basic Life Support
Half day course aimed at building confidence in recognising and treating a casualty who has stopped breathing. Learn how to perform effective CPR and use an AED safely
Level 3: Emergency First Aid at Work
This 1 day course is ideal for anyone wishing to become an accredited Emergency First Aider in the workplace, or for anyone wishing to learn about first aid.
London Ambulance Service Defib Scheme
This half day course will teach you everything you need to know in order to be able to accredit your defibrillator with the London Ambulance Service

Get in touch! We are able to come to your place of work or another location of your choice to undertake our training courses. This way, you will have more control over the booking and access to your location, and has the added benefit of minimising the cost.
We mainly cover Greater London and the South East of England but if you are situated outside of these areas do not worry! Please mention this when sending a booking request and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
